Growing Up

My daughter frolicking on Gonzales Beach, Victoria BC, 2013 Samsung Galaxys3

How neat is this? A lost treasure I found earlier today. No idea how I did it but cool! LoL

I remember being in BC when I was about the age of your daughter in the picture. That was many moons and suns ago. That is a really neat picture…..I like the way it came out.

She looks like she’s having a lot of fun…..I just love and treasure kids! Spending time with them really opens your mind to a way of thinking that is magical and wise and innocent all at the same time. It is a way of thinking that we as adults with all our worries have forgotten. But, a few hours or a day with a child will remind you of what you have forgotten.

I wish I had been able to have my own, but it wasn’t meant to be so I enjoy my niece and nephew, and my cousins’ children. And there is the cutest little one year old in the apartment above me. I call her Zoe Smile because that’s almost always what she is doing, and if she is out and I call her, she breaks into a big smile and giggles. It is magical 🙂
