Phoneography and Non-SLR Digital Devices Photo Challenge: Macro

Yay!

I’ve just discovered a new-to-me Photo Challenge for every Monday of the month. This being the 2nd Monday of the month, the topic is Macro…only caveat is that you use a non-SLR camera and of course everyone is welcome to join. Hosted by Sally at Lens and Pens by Sally click for her entry and rules of the game.

I don’t have a title for this. Any thoughts?

I have been looking at this, but just can’t figure out what it is. What is that and where did you capture it?

  2. Welcome, welcome to the challenge–you’ve chosen an apt image for the first entry. It’s mysterious and otherworldly. I like your perspective (even if I didn’t know what it is). The close up gives it an abstract flavor, especially with the surrounding snow. Happy Photo Challenge.

  3. Glad to see you made it. Welcome to the challenge and what a perfect first entry. I might call it “Spouting off” or “Water you think about this?”, but that’s just my quirky sense of humor. 🙂

I thought it was a frozen hot water bottle or a propeller that had broken off from the motor

Love this! All I could tell was that it was something buried in snow. Great macro!

  8. Okay made me look twice. It looks like a button to push but…? Doubt I would get any water.
    Good job!

Neat! Macro shots actually work so so so well with cell cameras. Just keep the camera close to the subject and it gives decent results. I had S3 before. Works well except for battery charging and life. I now have Samsung Note 3. Very happy with it.

I hesitate to admit this, but… it reminded me of stirrups in the doctor’s office. I didn’t even notice the snow until I read the comments — all I saw was metal. Interesting pic 🙂
