Julia Manuel

Bio: November 11, 2014 Following my bliss. Professional actor by trade for over 20 years, in the past 15 I've fallen in love with another kind of magic - photography. Born & raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada, I'm blessed to have grown up in a family of artists (musicians, composers, photographers, visual artists, sculpters, jewelers, actors, directors) who shaped who I am today. Lucky to have travelled extensively, presently living in Toronto the mother of one beautiful daughter and partner to my dearest, whom have both made me a better person by far. Steven's unwavering support of my photographic eye and creativity has finally convinced me to share in a more public way. I am deeply grateful for a life lived creatively (one must express in an artful way in this cuckoo world), and for the opportunity to engage positively with others. Loves my people! I do hope you'll enjoy my new journey here as a blogger #ohmygodimablogger and I very much look forward to meeting and learning from you. If you would like to contact me feel free to anytime: find me Julia Melinda Manuel at https://www.facebook.com/ or by email mamamaitri@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you! Many thanks for being here. Peace, love & light, Jules Instagram: @mamamaitri Twitter: @mamamaitri

  3. Thanks for visiting my blog. Curious to see how an actor will transform into a photographer. You have at least one advantage: you can grow into a character; which in photography is your subject. When you ‘re ‘with’ your subject, you will know how to photograph it. See you!

    Hello Julia…

Here’s a little message from Türkiye to say “thank you”. I appreciate your ‘follow’, knowing how many interesting and entertaining blogs there are out there.

Blogging since June 2013, my little corner of the world tries to offer an eclectic smattering of posts, from basic amateur photography, to sharing my travel adventures over the decades, as well as day to day happenings here on our fruit farm in southern Turkey. I also throw in a few of my observations on life and lighter-hearted stuff for good measure.

You are more than welcome to have a look around, stay a while and have a trawl through my small collection. There are plenty of drop-down categories within the menu bar to help in said digging process. Of course, if you have any comments, suggestions or concerns, feel free to let me know – I’m not easily offended 🙂

Thanks again and hope you have a great day…
